Job Description
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Stud Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing steel stud framing for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with metal framing systems and a solid understanding of building plans and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and assemble steel stud framing for walls, ceilings, and partitions according to blueprints and specifications
Measure, cut, and shape metal studs and track materials
Install drywall or other wall systems after framing as required
Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and layouts
Ensure framing meets code requirements and quality standards
Collaborate with other trades and project managers on-site
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment safely
Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety guidelines
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Steel Stud Carpenter or similar role
Proficient in steel stud framing, blueprint reading, and layout
Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or scaffolding
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable transportation to job sites
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
