Overview General Manager - Jared Jewelers - Shops at Stonefield at Signet Jewelers. This role leads the day-to-day operations of a Jared store to achieve all sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team member growth and development to maximize the results of the store. Responsibilities Position Summary: Reporting to the District Manager, the General Manager (GM) will lead the day-to-day operations of a single store to maximize results in sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team member growth and development. Vision And Purpose: Communicates performance expectations and ensures all team members understand the impact of their performance on company success. Coaches and develops staff to reinforce brand image and consistent customer interactions, store visuals, and marketing. Customer Obsession: Deliver an exceptional customer experience through training, outreach, communication, and clear expectations. Empowers team members to respond to and resolve customer issues within established parameters. Critical Thinking & Innovative Action: Attains sales projections and quotas, develops strategies to maximize both personal and team sales potential while achieving goals. Observes operations to identify opportunities for improvement, coaches staff to address root causes, reviews and analyzes reports, and shares market insights with management. Employee Experience: Demonstrates a commitment to the Company's People First vision. Responsible for the selection and development of talent to drive store growth. Provides onboarding and ongoing coaching in operations, sales techniques, customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and visual merchandising. Maintains open communication with team members and management and ensures accuracy of team member data in system records for Total Rewards. Work Schedule Hours are typically a five-day, 40-hour work week during non-peak periods, with increases during peak periods. Scheduling may include opening and closing shifts on weekdays and weekends based on operating hours, sales requirements, customer traffic, and staff coaching needs. Note: Hours may increase during peak selling periods. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and move between display cases. May sit, stoop, bend, kneel or crouch as needed. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. This role requires visual acuity sufficient to discern differences in gemstone quality. Standard workweek includes weekends, evenings, holidays, and extended hours. Travel to training sessions and business meetings, including air travel and overnight travel, may be required.
