We are seeking a Fundraising And Administrative Coordinator to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order help us expand our fundraising efforts and support our administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Development (50%)

  • Developing and execute fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, online giving, donor appeals, and special events.
  • Oversee management of the donor database (e.g., Little Green Light), including data analysis and segmentation.
  • Help research and prepare grant proposals and reports.
  • Coordinate fundraising events, donor tours, and stewardship activities.
  • Support major gift and recurring donor outreach in coordination with the Executive Director.
  • Maintain the grant tracking spreadsheet.

Administrative Support (50%)

  • Provide scheduling, communication, and document preparation support to the Executive Director and staff.
  • Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems, including financial records, grant files, and client intake materials.
  • Assist with board meeting preparations.
  • Support general office operations, including supply management, mail handling, and facility coordination.
  • Prepare the monthly financial package under the direction of the Treasurer.
  • Deposit checks via the remote data capture machine.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, administration, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and donor management systems.
  • Passion for housing justice, social services, and serving vulnerable populations.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience with grant writing and donor cultivation.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and/or fundraising platforms.
  • Event planning and volunteer coordination experience.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
