A leading construction and remodeling company serving the Blakeslee area, is seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start or advance their career in the carpentry trade. You will work alongside experienced carpenters on a variety of residential and commercial projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead carpenters with all aspects of construction projects, including framing,Deck building, Window and door installations, siding, and interior finish work.

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.

• Transport and handle materials, tools, and equipment safely on the job site.

• Keep the work area clean and organized by clearing debris and storing materials properly.

• Perform basic site preparation and cleanup tasks.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for the entire team.

• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents under the guidance of senior staff.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, labor, or a related field is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.

• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, and kneeling.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites in and around the Blakeslee, PA area.
