Job Description

We are seeking a skilled carpenter with expertise in various carpentry techniques. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Follow supervisors’ instructions for design and layout.
• Assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
• Operate power tools, including a table saw, and other equipment.
• Stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
• Complete a recognized apprenticeship or have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a journey-level carpenter.
• Obtain additional certification if required.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Maintain physical fitness with good hand-eye coordination.
• Apply knowledge of mathematics in carpentry tasks.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in carpentry techniques.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Rough carpentry skills and layout design expertise.
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
